Adam LambertFOX will remake the 1970s cult classic “Rocky Horror Picture Show” for airing this fall, and a former American Idol standout will play a key part.

That would be Adam Lambert, who will play Eddie, the motorcycle-riding delivery boy played by Meatloaf in the original.

After crashing the party at Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s castle, Eddie belts out “Hot Patootie/Bless My Soul (I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll)/”

“I’m going to be in The Rocky Horror Picture Show!” Adam announced on Facebook over the weekend.

He told The Hollywood Reporter he grew up watching the movie, adding “‘Rocky Horror’ always made me feel like it was OK to celebrate my weirdness.”

Laverne Cox will play Dr. Frank-N-Furter, while Victoria Justice and Ryan McCartan take the roles of the young couple who stumble upon the castle.

Adam will be squeezing the filming into a busy 2016 schedule that includes a North American tour to support his “The Original High” album.

That tour includes a Feb. 28 show at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa., and a March 5 show at the Lincoln Theatre in D.C.

Tickets are on sale now and are $55 for the D.C. concert and range from $35 to $65 for the Pa. show.
