We’re just five weeks away from the release of Adam Lambert’s new album, and news about it keeps rolling in.

The album’s name was announced on Adam’s Web site Tuesday. And that name is … are you ready? … “For Your Entertainment.”

Folks who are commenting on Adam’s site seem to think it’s a fitting title.

This is fitting too. Two of the most flamboyant entertainers of 2009 are working on a song for the new album.

Adam announced via Twitter Monday night that he recently spent a day working in the studio “with the insanely talented and creative Lady Gaga, recording a song that she wrote.”

He followed up with this Tweet: “Gaga wrote the song a while ago and she thought it would be a good fit for me. It’s a solo track. I feel so honored and lucky to be asked.”

Typically, not all the recorded songs make the debut CD. But here’s betting the Gaga track makes the cut. I mean, talk about the perfect combination.

Meanwhile, folks who just can’t wait for the album can now download Adam’s song from the movie “2012” via iTunes and Amazon.

A full version of the song — “Time for Miracles” — was leaked last weekend and a couple of versions can be found on youTube. The official track went on sale today.
