Adanna Duru, a Top 10 finisher on Season 14 of American Idol, will have her debut album later this month.

With a debut album on the way, Adanna Duru has released a sensuous new single called “Fingertips.”

A contestant on The Voice at age 15 and a Top 10 finalist on American Idol at age 18, Adanna has also released a music video for the song, which you can check out below.

“I wrote the song about the simplicity and innocence of a delicate kiss,” she told Earmilk.com, where the video premiered last month. “It stemmed from my love for the feeling of having my face held when I am kissed by a man I really care about, and who really cares about me.

“I started off just writing ‘Fingertips’ about a kiss but it quickly morphed into a song about my appreciation for two people who truly admire, respect, cherish, and are committed to each other.”

The singer also features rapper John Ibe.

As for the album, the seven-track “Stardive” is scheduled for release Aug. 18 and pre-orders are underway now on iTunes.

Adana appeared on Season 3 of The Voice (she was eliminated in the battle round) and Season 14 of American Idol in the spring of 2015.

This isn’t her first release since. She released a mixtape last year called “Exhibit A” complete with a debut single called “Walk” and a cover of “Seal It With a Kiss.”

She also dropped a music video for a catchy song called “Quinn” earlier this year; that song also will be featured on the upcoming album.

Here’s the video for “Fingertips.”
