Bindi Liebowitz of The Voice Season 11 has released her debut single.

Bindi Liebowitz of The Voice Season 11 has released her debut single.

You only get one shot at a debut single.

So Bindi Liebowitz decided she might as well be bold.

The result is “Over You,” the sultry and sassy single the Season 11 contestant released last week.

Bindi said she wrote the song, inspired by failed relationships in which she and close friends have been involved.

As for why she picked it as her first release?

“The song just feels really good,” she told Voice Views. “The beat felt like it connected to the demographic I was aiming for and the lyrics were just so honest I figured it was a bold move for my debut single.

“I wanted it to stand out and be a proper introduction of who I am and what to expect.”

More music will be coming from Bindi, who classifies herself as an indie-soul and indie-soft rock artist. She says she expects to release an EP in late March.

Bindi was 23 when she auditioned for Season 11 of The Voice and landed a spot on Team Adam Levine.

She was stolen by Blake Shelton in the battle round, but eliminated when matched up with eventual Top 10 finisher Courtney Harrell in that season’s knockouts.
