For the first time ever, Carrie Underwood will be up for Entertainer of the Year honors at this year’s CMA Awards.

The 2016 CMA nominations were announced Wednesday morning. Other nominees with singing show connections include former American Idol judge Keith Urban and former The Voice champion Cassadee Pope.

But Carrie, who’s hosting the show again this year with Brad Paisley, could be the night’s big story.

Entertainer of the Year is a male dominated category; Taylor Swift is the only female artist to win in the last 15 years, having taken the honor in 2009 and 2011.

Remarkably, Carrie’s never even been nominated, despite being named Female Vocalist of the Year in 2006, 2007 and 2008. For those wondering, that award has gone to Miranda Lambert for the last six years.

And, not surprisingly, Carrie’s competition for Entertainer of the Year honors is all male — the aforementioned Keith Urban plus Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton and Luke Bryan, the winner each of the past two years.

Here’s a rundown of the other categories in which singing show stars are nominated. For the complete list, head here.

Female Vocalist of the Year: Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves

Male Vocalist of the Year: Keith Urban, Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley

Album of the Year: Storyteller by Carrie Underwood, Ripcord by Keith Urban, Hero by Maren Morris, Mr. Misunderstood by Eric Church, Black by Dierks Bentley

Musical Event of the Year: “The Fighter,” Keith Urban featuring Carrie Underwood, “Think of You,” Chris Young and Cassadee Pope, “Different for Girls,” Dierks Bentley featuring Elle King, “Home Alone Tonight,” Luke Bryan featuring Karen Fairchild, “You Are My Sunshine,” Morgane Stapleton with Chris Stapleton

The CMAs will air at 8 p.m. Nov. 2 on ABC.
