Pre-Voice, Chloe Kohanski performed as lead vocalist for a blues band called Cumberland Blues.

Then she teamed up with former Cumberland Blues member Grant Smith as Grant & Chloe, a psych-folk duet.

“Things just kept not working out,” she told Dominique Digital. “I wasn’t really sure what I was supposed to do.”

She wound up working a 4:30 a.m to 1 p.m. shift at a coffee shop in Nashville so she wouldn’t have to say no to any opportunities to perform or collaborate during the evening.

Then she was invited to audition for The Voice. It would mark her first venture as a solo artist.

You might say, Chloe has found her path in music.

Monday night, she’ll be competing for The Voice Season 13 title alongside Addison Agen, Brooke Simpson and Red Marlow.

Here’s a look back at Chloe’s performances to date on The Voice.
