Country duo 2Steel Girls releasing new music this week

Update: The new EP from the 2Steel Girls is out and it’s definitely worth a listen.

In addition to the fun and catchy title track (there are two versions), the EP includes “Cheap Motel,” a rousing country rocker, and “Mad Black Magic,” a song the ladies released as a single a while back.

But my favorite might be a clever and great sounding ballad, “The Devil Leads.” You can check it out below.

Original blog: The 2Steel Girls will be serving up new country music this week.

Their new EP, “Red, White and Blue Girls” is scheduled for a Wednesday release.

That’s also the name of their new single, which will be released on the same day. You can check out a snippet in the video at right. Certainly sounds catchy, doesn’t it?

For those who forget, the 2Steel Girls are Allison Steel and daughter Krystal, who competed on Season 3 of The Voice. They landed a spot on Team Blake after performing Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats” in the blind audition.

They’ve since released an EP called “Train Wreck” and a single called “Mad Black Magic.” You can check out the video for that song by heading here.

As for the new project, the 2Steel Girls are offering signed copies of “Red, White and Blue Girls” from their website for $12.

They’re also offering free downloads of “Mad Black Magic” and three songs from the earlier EP.

You can also follow the 2Steel Girls through Facebook. On Twitter, they’re simply @2Steel Girls.
