Domo ditches the stress, prefers dance in ‘I’m Doin’ Me’ video

DomoOne of the busiest contestants since her time on The Voice has just released a new video.

And, as usual, Domo has served up a combination of catchy pop and saucy dance moves.

The Season 3 contestant dropped the video for “I’m Doin’ Me” on Friday.

It finds Domo working as a waitress in a restaurant and getting rather frustrated.

A timely text convinces her to ditch the stress and decide “I’m Doin’ Me.”

Here’s how she described the song when it was released about two months ago.

“The song isn’t just about relationships,” Domo said. “It’s about doing you period. If you have stress and you have people annoying you and you have things that are holding you back and you just feel like you’re stuck, just do you, be yourself.”

And in Domo’s case, being yourself includes hitting the dance floor. After all, before The Voice, she competed with Rhythm City on America’s Best Dance Crew.

The release marks the fifth original video we’ve gotten from the Bronx gal since she appeared on The Voice.

She’s also released a trio of singles and an album, “Domonation.”

She’s even got her own app — Domozworld — on iTunes. And, according to her Facebook page, she recently signed a recording deal. “I’m no longer an unassigned artist,” she tweeted quite joyously.
