Reagan JamesReagan James apparently isn’t ready to share the story behind the title of her new album.

But “Have a Nice Day” hit iTunes on Friday, the second album already from the 17-year-old who starred on Season 7 of The Voice.

And fans seem to be having a nice time listening to eight new tracks from a gal who comes off as soulful beyond her age.

Some of the reaction from Facebook:

Mariane Soucisse: “OMG THIS ALBUM IS AMAZING. Thank you for being such an amazing artist.”

Sherrie Rogers: “Beautiful. Love your new songs.”

Adrian Marquez: “Loved the album, just got it, it’s sooo good. You’re on a whole other level despite being so young. Wish you the best.”

Brandi Evans McComb: “Happy birthday to me!!! Greatest birthday present ever!!! Love you.”

Another fan, Ronald Francisco, asked about that album title, since none of the eight tracks are called “Have a Nice Day.”

Reagan’s response: “Will explain soon! That’s a long story.”

According to a press release announcing the new album, Reagan had been working on “Have a Nice Day” for about a year. She co-wrote the songs with producer Geoff Rockwell, and guitarist Aaron Anthony.

Standout tracks include “Waterfalls,” “Breaking the Bank” and “Lullaby.”

Reagan was just 15 when she auditioned for Season 7 of The Voice and landed a spot on Team Blake with a cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Give Me Love.” She wound up making it all the way to the Top 10.

The new album isn’t her first post-Voice music. She released a pair of singles — “Red” and “Blue” — last year. Pre-Voice, she released a 2013 album called “Remedy.”

Her new album release show is set for March 11 at The Live Oak music hall in Fort Worth. Also performing that night will be Season 9 Voice standout Madi Davis.

You can follow Reagan through her Facebook page. On Twitter, she is @thereaganjames.
