Fifth Harmony, the girl group created on Season 2 of The X Factor, claimed a pair of Video Music Awards Sunday night at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

The night, of course, belonged to Beyonce. She won video of the year for “Formation,” best female video of the year for “Hold Up” and breakthrough long form video for “Lemonade.”

Fifth Harmony’s wins came for best collaborative video for “Work at Home,” which featured Ty Dolla $ign and for best song of summer, “All in My Head,” featuring Fetty Wap.

Isn’t it odd that of the hottest singing show products at the moment came from a show that no longer exists?

And that back in Season 2 of The X Factor, it was Emblem 3 that Simon Cowell — quite foolishly — was pushing as the next big thing?

Emblem 3 won up finishing fourth, Fifth Harmony finished third and the top two spots went to winner Tate Stevens and Carly Rose Sonenclar.
