Kensington Moore has released her first new music in more than two years.

Her new single is “Can’t Be Shaken” and it shares a message of positive self-image.

It also shows off Kensington’s growth as an artist since she was a 16-year-old contestant for Team Blake Shelton on Season 7 of The Voice and since she released her “Queensland” EP a year later.

Head to Kensington’s Facebook page and you can check out two other originals from the pop/R&B singer-songwriter.

Those songs are called “The Inside” and “Change for Nobody” and share the same message of self-confidence and resisting the temptation to make changes in search of wider acceptance.

“I know who I am and I’m not gonna change,” she writes in one post. “If the music industry is looking for someone to creatively control, I’m prob not yo girl.”

The theme behind the new single is aptly summed up on Kensington’s website bio, where she says she hopes her music inspires others, regardless of whether of not a particular song becomes a hit.

“I pray that my stories give hope to the brokenhearted and encourage my generation to confidently fall in love with their uniqueness,” she says. “It’s beautiful to be different – you don’t have to like what everyone else pretends to love. When we embrace who we really are and stand firm in our identity, nothing can take us down.”

You can also follow Kensington on Twitter where she’s simply @kensingtonmoore and on Instagram.
