Luke Combs and Kane Brown, country artists with Top 20 hits under their belts, will be among the acts performing at the Froggy Radio Stage at the York Fair this year.

Also among the 14 free shows announced Friday morning by WGTY 107.7 is a Saturday, Sept. 16, performance by York’s Leah Burkey, who is now pursuing her country music dreams in Nashville.

The York Fair runs from Sept. 8 through Sept. 17 and the radio stage shows are among the event’s best bargains — at least one free show each day by an up-and-coming country artist.

Past radio stage lineups have featured Lauren Alaina, RaeLynn, The Swon Brothers and Season 15 American Idol winner Trent Harmon.

So far, this year’s lineup is absent singing show stars. But two performances planned for a Friday, Sept. 8, Froggy Appreciation Show have yet to be announced. Those artists will be revealed July 19.

As for those announced Friday morning, Combs will appear Wednesday, Sept. 13, and Brown will be featured on Sunday, Sept. 10.

Combs scored a number one country hit with “Hurricane.” Brown’s “What Ifs,” featuring Lauren Alaina, cracked the top 20 on Billboard’s country charts.

Meanwhile, Burkey just released her second EP, “Just a Ghost,” featuring up-tempo country tunes like “Backseat” and the ridiculously catchy “Booty Call.”

Leah Burkey released her second Ep, Just a Ghost, last week.
