Luke Wade’s cover of “Work Song” was featured on national television this week.

Fans of The Voice and So You Think You Can Dance heard a familiar voice on this week’s episode.

Yep, that was Luke Wade’s new cover of Hozier’s “Work Song” that contestants Lex Ishimoto and Gaby Diaz did a contemporary dance to.

Both survived this week’s cut and advanced to the Top 7.

As for that cover, Luke’s version of the song hit iTunes on Tuesday so you can snag a copy there or listen to it on Spotify. It was still in the Top 100 on iTunes alternative singles chart as of Friday morning.

You might say Luke’s had a busy 2017. He released a fine new album, “Only Ghosts,” in January. He released a video for “On Fire” in April. He followed that up with a three-track live EP in June.

And in October, he’ll be heading back to London as part of a week-long 14-artist Texas Takeover event also scheduled for feature former Voice contestants Austin Allsup and Josh Hallverson.

And in posting the So You Think You Can Dance performance to his Facebook page, Luke promised there will be more new music soon.

Luke was a Season 7 contestant on the show and advanced all the way to the Top 8 before being eliminated.

If you’ve missed it, here’s that cover song.
