Hannah Mrozak of The Voice Season 13

Hannah Mrozak is among the former American Idol contestants to audition for Season 13 of The Voice.

On her website blog, Hannah Mrozak says 2017 is the year she’s determined to make something happen with her aspirations of a music career.

She’ll apparently get that chance on Season 13 of The Voice.

According to her website bio, Hannah began singing at age 6 and has studied a wide variety of musical styles, including everything from jazz to pop to opera.

In 2011, she won Milwaukee’s local America’s Got Talent competition. In the same year, she released a CD of covers, singing songs by Adele, Christina Aguilera and The Beatles. She was all of 13 at the time.

But if her name rings a bell with singing show fans, it’s probably because of Season 14 of American Idol. Her full audition of Etta James’ “At Last” aired. Suffice to say Hannah, then 16, blew away the judges, earning a unanimous golden ticket to Hollywood.

Her American Idol dreams ended during the Top 48 round that season, during which contestants performed at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.

But Hannah has kept right on singing. Since 2015, she’s been singing around her home in Wisconsin with the Eddie Butts Band. Head to her YouTube channel, and you can check out several of Hannah’s performances with the band.

And in 2016, she entered a Rising Stars competition in Wisconsin. She finished third and walked away with $2,000 in prize money.

Since high school, she’s attended school for esthiology and she’s been working on original music in hopes of releasing an EP sometime soon.

To date, she’s released just one original, “It’s In Me,” a song about bullying that became a music video back in 2012.
