Kelly Crapa, Season 3, The Voice

Meet Kelly Crapa of Team Blake on The Voice

Kelly Crapa is one of those surviving contestants we met very briefly on The Voice.

We saw her sing a tiny snippet of Taylor Swift’s “Sparks Fly.” We saw her land on Team Blake.

That was it. But, apparently, she landed on the right team.

In her Voice bio, we learn that Kelly, just 15, was inspired to start singing by Blake, Taylor and Season 4 American Idol champ Carrie Underwood.

She hails from the small town of New Fairfield, Conn., where she’s a sophomore in high school.

She enjoys charity work, being involved with the Relay for Life and the Wounded Warrior Project. She plays basketball and field hockey.

Two key ingredients to her success on The Voice stage: A big note that clearly left Blake impressed. And a pair of lucky boots.

Kelly told her local newspaper that the dress she wore on the show came from NBC’s wardrobe, but the brown boots were all her own.

She also said she got a tremendous reaction in school the day after her episode aired.

“I couldn’t even walk down the hall without someone grabbing me,” she said. “It’s really awesome to make my town proud.”

Since we heard so little of Kelly on The Voice, here are two of her YouTube videos. You can find plenty more from this talented teen on her YouTube channel.
