Blind audition: Natasha Bure, 17 of Los Angeles, auditioned with Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” She provided several interesting vocal wrinkles during the performance and got a chair turn from Adam Levine at the end of the first verse. Since he was the only coach to turn, she automatically became a member of Team Adam. Adam said there was something “really different and special” about her performance.

Her background: Growing up, Natasha says tennis was her passion. But she was also involved in music programs in school and says she became “super passionate” about that. “That’s when I knew, this is what I want to do.” Oh, and her mother is actress Candace Cameron Bure of “Full House,” “Fuller House” and “The View” fame. Natasha would accompany her mom to set and said she got a taste of what it was like to be on stage. “But the acting world and the music world is very different,” Natasha says, “and my mom doesn’t know too much about the music industry because she’s not musically gifted.” Natasha says she just graduated from high school and is taking “a gap year” to focus on music.

What the show didn’t show:
* When Natasha was 10, she began leading worship for her youth group, singing while a good friend played piano. “I just loved singing and the thrill it would give me,” she told Billboard.
* She has a YouTube channel with more than 54,000 followers, and it’s hardly all music, also featuring makeup tutorials and
Q&A sessions.
* According to Natasha’s bio on The Voice website, it was two years ago that she shifted her focus from tennis to music though she continued to play tennis for in high school.
* Her biggest performance to date was a surprise appearance on The View to help celebrate her mom’s 40th birthday. You can check it out below.
* In that interview with Billboard, Natasha says she started writing original music about a year ago and is a self-taught piano player. She says she took two lessons, and then picked up enough on her own that she can create a song on piano. “But I’m not like a beautiful player. I don’t know that I’d play (piano) if I had a concert or anything.”
* Natasha also told Billboard that she likes singing a wide variety of music, with one exception. “The only real genre I won’t sing is country music. I don’t know why. I can’t get on board.”
* Natasha told Billboard her audition song is one “I’ve listened to for years. I absolutely adore the song. It was a perfect choice for me.” She also said it’s the type of song she could make her own.
* That said, she told E! News, her blind audition “was the most nervous I think I’ve been for anything in my entire life. And I’ve performed a ton.” When Adam turned, she said “it was just a very big moment of relief.” Natasha said she and Adam have since worked on helping her not be so anxious before her performances.
