At this rate, Katharine McPhee will have released her entire album as singles before the CD’s official release next year.
Kat announced Tuesday in her MySpace blog that the single “Lifetime” is now available for download through iTunes.
It’s a peppy, optimistic, seize-the-moment tune and — if you’re counting — the third single she’s released from the upcoming album, “Unbroken.”
“Lifetime” follows a catchy pop tune called “Had It All,” which followed the haunting ballad “Say Goodbye” (great vocal, Kat).

And she’s running a contest in conjunction with the release of “Lifetime.” First prize: a 32GB Ipod touch and a phone chat with Kat, where she will help the winner choose their wedding playlist. You can find out more here. Let’s hope the winner plans on getting married.
“Unbroken” will be the second album from the now-blond Kat since she placed second to Taylor Hicks on season five of Idol.
