As I’ve said before, Kellie Pickler just makes me smile.

Apparently, Pickler’s in a pickle.

In a blog posted Saturday night, she writes about finding this perfect pair of shoes in the Christian Louboutin store in New York last week.

“I mean when I saw these babies displayed in the store my jaw hit the floor … I swear there was a halo glowing down from heaven on top of them,” she writes.

Problem is, they don’t match the dress she’s already committed to wearing for her appearance on American Idol Wednesday night.

Life sure can get complicated when you leave Albemarle, N.C., right, Kellie?

Anyway, she signs the blog “shoeless Cinderella.” Here’s a link.

As previously reported, Kellie will be singing “Best Days of Your Life,” the single she wrote with Taylor Swift, on this week’s Idol results show. She recently completed the video for the song. We’ll also see Kellie tonight as a presenter at the Academy of Country Music awards (8 p.m., CBS). I’ll be blogging live during the event and posting photos.

Now I’ll be looking for photos of Kellie’s shoes and Carrie Underwood’s dress.

I thought this was supposed to be all about music.
