ReaLynn’s debut album, WildHorse, will now be released in 2017.

RaeLynn fans expecting to buy her new album this weekend will have to be a little more patient.

The release date for “WildHorse,” the debut album from the 22-year-old, has been pushed back to June 30, 2017.

When the album became available for pre-order on iTunes, it had a release date of Dec. 2.

RaeLynn took to Twitter to explain: “To all who are asking! We moved my record date due to some pretty exciting things we have coming up next year! Trust me, please.”

She told Taste of Country an “amazing opportunity” came up that prompted the change in release date, but declined to elaborate.

Of course, the good news is that four songs from “WildHorse” are available for download, including the title track, lead single “Love Triangle,” “Insecure” and “Diamonds.” “Love Triangle” reached the Top 35 on Billboard’s country airplay and hot country songs charts.

And RaeLynn has been performing songs from the album while touring with Blake Shelton, so a quick search on YouTube will allow you to listen to many of the others.

RaeLynn shares the stories behind the songs in the December issue of NKD Mag. Turns out she wrote many of them when she was 18, including “Lonely Call” about an ex-boyfriend and “Say” about her then boyfriend and now husband, Josh Davis.

“There’s just so many cool songs,” RaeLynn says in the interview. “It’s so funny, because I’ve lived with these songs for so long.”

The album will be released by Warner Music Nashville after RaeLynn parted ways with the Big Machine label earlier this year.

While with Big Machine, she released an EP and her biggest hit to date, “God Made Girls.”

RaeLynn was a Top 16 finisher on Season 2 of The Voice.
