Mia Z.Sawyer Fredericks and Koryn Hawthorne might not be the only Team Pharrell teens with bright musical futures thanks to Season 8 of The Voice.

On Monday, Republic Records released a new single called “Child” by Mia Z. (Zanotti) — a bluesy single, of course.

The label is no stranger to working with Voice contestants. It’s roster includes Cassadee Pope, Tessanne Chin, Matt McAndrew and RaeLynn.

Republic promoted her single in a Tuesday press release about new music.

The 16-year-old from Pittsburgh advanced as far as The Voice finals before being eliminated on Top 12 week along with Brian Johnson.

Before that happened, she cracked the iTunes Top 50 with her cover of “Ain’t No Sunshine” and made a name for herself with her vocal range and her knack at performing the blues at such a young age.

Mia hasn’t promoted the new single on Twitter of Facebook, but told fans “I have tons of original material coming your way”
when she took to Twitter the day after her Voice elimination.

Mia already has an album on iTunes, “The Beginning,” released in 2012.

Her new single is available on Amazon, iTunes and Google play.

And the music video for the song just hit iTunes. Here it is.
