Blake Shelton mentioned the possibility of an Emily Ann Roberts upset on The Voice finale tonight.

Don’t hold your breath.

Though Emily Ann delivered a wonderful show-closing performance of “Burning House,” all signs point to a Jordan Smith victory.

Just like they have ever since Andi & Alex left the competition and, inexplicably, weren’t invited back during the coaches’ comeback round.

You’ll remember that it was Andi & Alex — not Jordan Smith — who were the iTunes champs in the early rounds of Season 9.

Back to tonight and Jordan’s long-anticipated victory …

It’s not just a matter of the way Monday’s songs performed on iTunes. But, for the record, Jordan finished in three of the top five spots on the iTunes 200 and hit number one for the third time.

It’s also a matter of how past songs from the show did on the charts overnight.

When voting closed at noon today, Jordan had six songs performed on earlier episodes of The Voice in the Top 50 on iTunes. “Somebody to Love” led the way at number 10.

Emily Ann?

She was cleaning up on the iTunes country chart with seven songs in the Top 20. Now that’s impressive.

But on the overall chart, her highest song from before Monday’s show checked in at number 61 on the iTunes 200. Or behind six of Jordan’s.

And those downloads of past Jordan Smith performances count as votes, too.

So expect Jordan to waltz to an easy win tonight, though Emily Ann looks like a solid bet for the runner-up spot.
