Carrie Underwood accepts he award for CMT Performance of the Year at the CMT Awards.

Carrie Underwood’s Video of the Year win streak came to an end at the CMT Music Awards Wednesday night.

But the country superstar still didn’t go home empty handed, winning a pair of awards for “Smoke Break,” the lead single from her latest album.

Video of the Year honors went to Tim McGraw for “Humble and Kind.” That made him the first male winner of the award since Keith Urban took the honor in 2006 for “Better Life.”

Carrie had taken Video of the Year honors the past four years and six times since 2007. Taylor Swift also won three times during that nine-year stretch.

Carrie’s wins on Tuesday came for her “Smoke Break” video in the female video of the year category and for a live performance of the song on CMT Instant Jam.

Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis were also up for that honor for a duet of “Girl Crush.” And Blake Shelton and Keith Urban were nominated for video of the year and male video of the year, but fell short both times. Male video of the year honors went to Thomas Rhett for “Die a Happy Man.”

But Blake captured CMT’s first Social Superstar award.

Tuesday’s awards show also featured performances by Blake with the Oak Ridge Boys, Keith with Brett Brett Eldredge and Maren Morris, Carrie singing “Church Bells” and Cassadee Pope accompanying Pitbull on his new single, “Messin’ Around.” I’ve embedded some of those performances below.
