Kat Perkins scores another #1 rock hit for The Voice

Kat Perkins faces long odds tonight on The Voice.

Last week, the rocker from Minneapolis, Minn., needed an instant save to survive Top 10 week.

Since that instant save was put in place in Season 5, not a single saved contestant has survived the following week.

And Tuesday night, The Voice intends to send three singers home rather than the traditional two.

But on Monday, Kat might have turned in the performance she needed to stay in the competition, turning Daft Punk’s hit dance tune “Get Lucky” into a rocker.

This morning, the song is number one on the iTunes rock chart. It marks the third straight week Kat has accomplish that feat.

More importantly, the song is currently doing third best among The Voice cover tunes on iTunes overall chart.

The only artists doing better — front-runners Josh Kaufman and Christina Grimmie.

Meanwhile, if you missed Kat’s crowd-pleasing performance, I’ve embedded it below.
