Kellie Pickler released a new single Tuesday and the song might be an indication that she’s going back to the pop-country sound that served her so well on her first two albums.

The song is “Feeling Tonight” and it’s the first single from her upcoming fifth album.

It’s also the first song she’s released that was co-produced by her husband, Kyle Jacobs.

Kellie told EW.com she plans to work with him on more material for the new album.

They’ll also be starring on a new reality TV show set to debut on CMT in September. Kellie refers to it as “I Love Lucy meets Friends.”

As for the single …

“I was really excited to have something that’s uptempo and fun for the summertime — kind of roll your windows down and cruise and just feel good,” she told EW in an interview you can read here. “I’m excited about it, so hopefully it does well.

“It tricky finding what fits with what’s on radio right now.”

Kellie’s last album was 2013’s “The Woman I Am.” It included the wonderful single “Someone, Somewhere Tonight,” but the album wasn’t a commercial success.

Here’s the new single.
