Kellie Pickler has released her first original song in more than two years.

The single is called “If It Wasn’t for a Woman” and hit iTunes Friday.

On Facebook, Kellie said the song was inspired by her “Grandma Faye,” who helped raise her.

“Being able to write this song with my husband (Kyle Jacobs) and our dear friend Brian Bunn makes it even more special. We hope it means as much to you as it does to us.”

Excluding holiday releases, Kellie’s last single was “Feeling Tonight,” released in the summer of 2015.

Of course, Kellie’s been plenty busy with her television projects, including the new CMT talk show “Pickler and Ben,” which premiered on CMT last month.

And Kellie played a snippet of the new song on her show “I Love Kellie Pickler” back in August.

Oh, and speaking of the holiday, Kellie has announced a 16-date Christmas tour with Phil Vasser that kicks off in late November.

It includes a pair of dates in Maryland — Annapolis on Dec. 21 and Frederick on Dec. 22. Check out the complete tour schedule on Kellie’s Facebook page.

Here’s that new single.
