Megan Joy, New Idol Music

Megan Joy’s delightful debut album now on iTunes

0

Back in May, Megan Joy released a 9-track debut album through bandcamp.com.

Yep, the Season 8 Megan Joy known for the sleeve tattoo, the bird calls and her inconsistent performances.

But anyone who remembers those performances will be pleasantly surprised by her album.

Bottom line: She sounds a whole lot better singing her own material.

And I love “Can’t Bring Me Down,” a catchy little ray-of-sunshine that’s included on the album. Best line, given Megan’s personality: “My toes keep tapping to my own beat.”

Best of all, starting Tuesday, the album’s available almost everywhere, including iTunes.

I’ve embedded “Can’t Bring Me Down” below, and you can check out the Idol Chatter review of the album (and lots of others) here.
