Sawyer Fredericks to perform new single next week on The Voice

Sawyer FredericksTurns out we’re in for a double treat on The Voice Wednesday night.

Not only will will learn who made the Top 12, we’ll be treated to a performance by last season’s winner.

On Thursday afternoon, Sawyer Frederick’s tweeted that he’ll be performing his new single, “Take It All,” on Wednesday’s show.

This would apparently be his first single off his upcoming debut album.

In a recent podcast interview, Sawyer indicated that he expected to have news about that album sometime soon and that there was a chance it would be released in time for the holiday shopping season.

Sawyer also recently released a song called “Forever Wrong.” It’s available now and will be featured on the soundtrack that accompanies Mitch Albom’s latest novel, “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto.” To learn more about that and hear the song, head here.

And for fans in the York area interested in seeing Sawyer live, he’ll be performing with Good Old War at Union Transfer in Philly on Dec. 18. Tickets are $20. Head here for info on that.

Meanwhile, having Sawyer debut his new single on The Voice is a great move for all involved. The show can use his drawing power on results night. And everyone Sawyer performed last spring on the show went Top 10 the next day on iTunes.
