Mary Sarah from Season 10 of The Voice will play a show in Frederick, Md., this weekend.

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at Champions Billiards Sports Bar, 5205 Buckeystown Pike, and is part of an Impact Concert Series sponsored by Woodsetter.com.

Charity proceeds will benefit Kathryn Snider and her family; Kathryn is battling brain cancer.

Admission is a $10 suggested donation. Meet and greet tickets are also available.

The show is one of three Mary Sarah will be performing in the area as part of the concert series. She’ll also perform at the Berkeley Recreation Center in Martinsburg, W.Va., Friday night, and at the Cancun Cantina, 7501 Old Telegraph Road, Hanover, Md., Sunday afternoon.

Mary Sarah was 20 when she auditioned for The Voice. She arrived at the show with three country albums already to her credit, including “Bridges,” featuring duets with country music superstars.

She wound up finishing in the Top 8.

Since then, she has made her Grand Ole Opry debut and her life “has gotten 100 times busier than it had been, especially as far as touring and booking dates,” she told FrederickPlayList.com in an interview posted earlier this week.

And, yes, Mary Sarah fans, new music is on the way. She told the site she hopes to have new music out late this year or early next year.

“It shouldn’t be too long,” Mary Sarah told the site. “I know my fans are wanting some new stuff, so it will be happening soon. I don’t want to rush the process, though, because it is artistry and that takes time. I don’t want to just put half of an effort into it for my fans, just to give them something. I want them to really know who I am, where I come from and what I’m influenced by.”
