Will Moseley from American Idol Season 22 has released a new song

Will Moseley from American Idol Season 22 has released a new song.

Will Moseley, runner-up on Season 22 of American Idol, has released his first single since the show.

“I Don’t Want To Fight No More” landed Friday and features the same trademark gritty and raspy vocals that made Will so popular on the show.

And fans are clearly enjoying the new tune.

A sampling of comments from Will’s Instagram:

* “Awesome song, Will!! Can never get tired of your voice,so talented. Congratulations on the new song release, definitely a hit song for sure.”

* “Outstanding. Fabulous. Stupendous. One-of-a-kind melodious and addictive-to-listen-to ahhhhhhhhmazing VOICE!!!! You have a stellar career ahead of you, Mr. Moseley! The sky is absolutely no limit for YOU!!!”

* “Super excited to have another song to listen to on repeat!!”

By the end of the weekend, the song had topped 24,000 streams on Spotify.

Without show appearances to promote his music, it’ll be interesting to see if the new song reaches the level of his previous releases.

The original Will performed for his audition, “Gone for Good,” now has more than 1.7 million streams on Spotify.

“Good Book Bad,” the song he released in the run-up to the season finale, has more than 600,000.

As previously reported, Will will be heading out on tour with Season 21 finalist Colin Stough this fall.

They have 10 shows planned, including three November gigs in South Carolina.
