2 million views for Bucky’s video with Kellie as the hottie

Bucky Covington has a new video, and it features a guest appearance by one of his Season 5 colleagues.

That would be Kellie Pickler, who plays the short-shirt wearing, cleavage-flashing hottie who helps Bucky and Shooter Jennings escape a police officer and party on in “The Drinking Side of Country.”

The song just might be Bucky’s best shot at a country hit since his debut album produced three top 20 country singles back in 2007.

I mean, the video has only been on YouTube for a week, and it already has more than 2 million views.

You can check it out below.

Meanwhile, Bucky has announced that pre-sales have started for his second album, “Good Guys,” set for release Sept. 11.

For now, you can pre-order the album on Amazon for $11.99; the “Drinking Side of Country” single hit iTunes yesterday.

As for that single, Bucky’s completely revamped website indicates that he recorded the “Drinking Side of Country” shortly after writing it in 2010.

But he thought it needed something extra.

Enter Shooter Jennings, who appears all too happy to have turned it into a duet in the music video.

As for the video, I suppose Kellie serves as the “something extra.”
