Her audition: Grace Miller-Moody, 20, Florence, S.C., performed “Sunday Morning” by Maroon 5. Her soulful tone prompted a quick chair turn from Michael Buble. Before Grace hit the chorus, all four coaches were facing in her direction. John said Grace kicked that song’s ass. Adam called her potential “limitless” and said she could win the show. Grace opted to join Team Adam.

Here’s more about Grace:

* She’s a member of the Class of 2026 at the College of Charleston, where she majors in psychology.

* If she’s got lots of performance experience, it doesn’t show on her social media. That said, she performed live at least twice last month — at a fund-raiser for Trinity Collegiate School in Darlington, S.C., and at a Boots N Beats show at Music Farm in Charleston.

* On TikTok, you’ll find a clip of Grace performing a sassy version of Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart” at the latter event.

* That said, she appears to be a versatile performer. Other TikTok covers include Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain,” the Beatles “Yesterday” and a wonderfully soulful rendition of Billie Eilish’s “L’amour da ma vie” that drew rave reviews from a couple of her Voice colleagues. Check it out below.

* Judging from another TikTok snippet, Grace’s Voice audition might have gone very, very well. Kelsea Ballerini seems especially excited about the prospect of having Grace on her team.

* She attended All Saints’ Episcopal Day School in Florence, S.C., graduating in 2016. The folks there have already postd on Facebook in support of her Voice appearance.

* She told The Voice her brother Shott was diagnosed with leukemia at age 7 and had to undergo chemotherapy for four years.

* After Shott recovered, the family took a trip to Las Vegas and attended a Maroon 5 concert. “It brought us back together,” Grace recalled in her Voice bio segment. That might have had a little to do with her coaching choice.
