Phillip Phillips returns home to Leesburg, Ga.

Phillip Phillips returned home to Leesburg, Ga., on Saturday.

His day began with radio interviews, included a stop at a nearby children’s hospital and at his father’s pawn shop before he headed to Lee County High School for a homecoming concert in front of thousands.

Oh, and he also got that lunch of chicken and cheese nachos he wanted.

And the owner of El Maya was understandably thrilled when Phillip mentioned his restaurant on national TV Thursday night.

“He shouted me out to 14 million people, so he can name whatever he wants to on the menu,” Tony Diaz told the local FOX station.

Below are photos American Idol provided of Phillip’s hometown visit. You can head here for more.
