The Voice registered its worst ratings and lowest viewership ever for a fall semifinal round last week.

Monday first live performance show earned a 0.4 rating, down a tenth of a point from last fall.

Viewership checked in at an estimated 5.4 million, a 9 percent drop from the fall 2023 semifinal performance show.

At 0.3, the ratings for the semifinals results show matched The Voice’s lowest of Season 26.

Viewership for that show was an estimated 4.55 million, down a whopping 25 percent from a year ago.

As you’ll see below, ratings for The Voice fall semifinals have been falling nearly every year.

But the Season 26 format, with just two live shows, couldn’t have helped.

For just the second time in the show’s history, coaches and producers handpicked the eight semifinalists.

That meant 48 members of a talented cast of 56 were eliminated without any say from fans.

Here’s a look at fall semifinal ratings for the show since it went to two seasons per year.

I’m curious how much of the ratings drop has to do with Blake leaving.

Maybe having it on twice a year is a mistake.

Well, the show has been on since 2011. It’s bound to start feeling stale after a while.

That’s how I felt about American Idol when it ended on Fox. I felt that it had become rather stale and I was losing interest in it.

The producers, coaches, and host of “The Voice” got what they deserved.

They insulted and manipulated the contestants, their families, and their friends.

“Voice” viewers are getting tired of being toyed with.

Follow and support your favorite contestants after the seasons end.
