Several former American Idol contestants have auditioned and earned spots on The Voice.

Sundance Head, Top 24 on Season 6 of Idol back in 2007, is the first to make it to the finals.

Since then, the country-soul singer has released a pair of albums and an EP.

He was 37 when he auditioned for the show with Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long,” prompting chair turns from Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Here’s a look back at Sundance’s performances on The Voice and how they have done on the iTunes charts.
