Jordan Smith receives special honor on return to The Voice

Smith was the guest performer on Tuesday’s episode of The Voice.

And the show had a special surprised for its Season 9 winner: a plaque in honor of the fact that he’s now sold 7 million singles.

Adam Levine, his coach on the show made the presentation.

Jordan also performed “O Holy Night” from his Christmas album, “‘Tis The Season.”

The 12-track album came out in mid-October and features covers as diverse as “Ave Maria” and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.”

It debuted at number 112 on the Billboard 200 and is sitting at number 11 on the site’s most recent holiday albums chart.

Jordan has lots of other holiday treats for fans, including:

* A one-hour Christmas special on PBS, also called “‘Tis the Season.” The special will air sometime in December.

* An appearance on NBC’s special, “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” on Nov. 30.

* And he’s currently on a Christmas tour with Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant. The tour will stop in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Dec. 14 and Baltimore, Md., on Dec. 18.
