Wednesday marked homecoming day for the American Idol Top 3.

Hannah Harper returned to Willow Springs, Missouri. Jordan McCullough went home to Murfreesboro, Tenn. And Keyla Richardson traveled back to Pensacola, Fla.

Each singer was the star of their own parade, then performed an evening concert for their hometown fans.

Hannah got a special surprise. Jo Dee Messina joined her on stage.

In a Facebook post, Hannah says she headed home with little idea of what the schedule was for her homecoming visit and “was surprised all throughout the day in the sweetest ways.

“This was my ‘Hometown Hero’ visit, and getting to experience it surrounded by the people and places that shaped me made it even more special.

“I was born and raised in Bunker, Missouri, and later married into Willow Springs — the town where Devon and I are raising our babies. So getting to come back home to Missouri and share this day with everyone who has loved, supported, prayed for, and believed in me through every season meant more than I could ever explain.

“Watching my Bunker family and my Willow family come together as one beautiful community gathering was something I’ll never forget.”

You can check out Hannah’s full post here. If videos from the celebration become available, I’ll add those later.
