Former American Idol contestant Didi Benami has a new single.
Not to mention a new video. And more music on the way.
Didi released a single called “Trouble” last week and the video hit Vevo yesterday.
In it, Didi battles her evil twin — first fleeing from a speeding muscle car she’s driving, then hopping into the passenger’s seat and wrestling her evil twin for the steering wheel of her life.
This marks Didi’s third single, following “Gasoline” in May and “Waiting and Watching” in January.
The latter will be among the 10 songs on her upcoming album, “Reverie,” due for release sometime this spring; “Gasoline” is not.
The 27-year-old, who finished 10th on Season 9 of Idol, helped fund the album with a successful Pledge Music campaign.
In the video that accompanied the campaign, she described the new album this way: “Reverie came to be through years and years of writing, living in Los Angeles, going through crazy things. It’s like pages from my diary.”
Here’s the video.
