Jacquie (Lee) from The Voice Season 5 has released a song she wrote for Project Heal.

Jacquie Lee from Season 5 of The Voice released a personal new single on Friday.

The song is called “I Won’t Break,” and it’s one she wrote for and performed at Project Heal’s 10th anniversary gala Thursday night.

Project Heal is an organization that helps cover treatment costs for individuals recovering from eating disorders.

Jacquie — she’s releasing music under just her first name these days — has shared the story of her own struggle with bulimia in interviews with papermagg.com and Yahoo.

She told both sites she realized she had to confront the problem after taking a nasty fall during Fashion Week 2017 in New York after getting dizzy from restricting what she was eating. She wound up with a skull fracture.

But the 20-year-old told Yahoo her self-doubt about body image stretched back to her stint on The Voice. Following her first exposure as a contestant, she recalled reading negative comments on social media and being “in tears that entire day.”

“I want to help other people by being honest about it and showing them that, like, this is a real thing, and a lot more people struggle with it than you probably would think,” Jacquie told Yahoo.

Here’s “I Won’t Break.”
