Aaron LaVigne of The Voice Season 29

Aaron LaVigne is among the artists who auditioned for Season 29 of The Voice.

The Voice will kick off Season 29 on Feb. 23 with a new format and three coaches — John Legend, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson.

Here’s more about Aaron:

* He’s from Cincinnati, Ohio, and he’ll show up on The Voice stage with music out and lots of lots of performance experience.

* For three years, he played the title role in the 50th anniversary tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. The tour visited 50 cities for 447 performances over three years before coming to an end in August 2022.

* More recently, he’s been performing with Jenna Rubaii in a show called Radio Recall. It’s billed as “a high‑energy show blending powerhouse vocals, acoustic moments, and iconic hits from the past 60 years.” Check out a promo for the show below.

* By the end of 2025, Aaron and Jenna were celebrating the completion of the first year of Radio Recall, with performances in 20 countries and eight states. Performing on Princess Cruises helped bump up the former number. They were continuing the show into 2026.

* In his web bio, Aaron says he learned the “language of music” listening to The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Motown artists while growing up.

* You’ll find Aaron LaVigne originals on streaming sites, including an album called “The DownTown Crowd” from 2010 and an EP called “Call Your Mom” from 2013.

* He hasn’t released original music lately. His last release to streaming sites appears to be a duet of “O Holy Night” with Jenna during the 2022 holiday season.

* Aaron has a bachelor’s degree in musical theater from Northern Kentucky University and made New York his base after graduating.

* He’s has also performed on Broadway in “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.” The show ran on Broadway from the summer of 2011 to early 2014.
