Chanel Michelle of American Idol Season 24
Idol returns to ABC on Monday, Jan. 26 with the judging trio of Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie.

* She’s Chanel Green-El from Atlantic City, N.J., now living in New York.
* On TikTok, she identifies herself as a 26-year-old mother, wife and “warrior in song.”
* Her instagram is filled with impressive worship covers and messages about faith.
* And on TikTok, Chanel Michelle already has more than 86,000 followers and nearly 1 million likes.
* One of her TikToks, a cover of “Way Maker,” has 3.3 million views, showing off her vocal fire power and her passion when she sings. Writes Chanel: “before I uploaded this video .. I told the Lord to do as He pleases with this! As long as I get to speak Jesus over you all, I’m PLEASED.”
* In one of her Instagram posts, Chanel promotes a song called “I’m Waiting on You” and says it’s coming soon. Perhaps around the time Idol begins airing? You can check it out here.
* And in late December, Chanel and husband Josiah launched a podcast they are calling Kingdom Conversations with Josiah & Chanel.
