His audition: Elias Gomez, 29, of Cincinnati, Ohio, performed “Lonely Teardrops” by Jackie Wilson. Elias launched into a fun cover of the classic, prompting an immediate chair turn from Michael Buble. Niall Horan couldn’t help turning as well. So did Snoop Dogg. At this point, Reba’s team is full, so she can’t turn. Michael introduced Elias to Sofronio Vasquez, his Season 26 champ, and says he thinks Elias could follow in Sofronio’s footsteps. Snoop calls Elias “the complete package.” Niall called his performance “amazing” and loved his different approach to the song. Elias joined Team Michael.
