Her audition: Sadie Dahl, 19, of Draper, Utah, performed “Colors” by Black Puma. Sadie’s soulful delivery made an immediate impression with the coaches. Niall Horan and Michael Buble turned almost immediately. Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg later followed, giving Sadie a four-chair turn. Snoop said he could hear pop, R&B and soul influences in her voice. Reba called her audition mesmerizing and said she could win the show. As for Niall, he blocked Michael in hopes of landing Sadie for himself. The move didn’t work. Sadie opted to join Team Snoop.

Here’s more about Sadie:

* She’s a singer in her late teens who’s from Draper, Utah, lives in Salt Lake City and graduated from Lone Peak High School in Highland, Utah, in May 2024.

* In spite of her youth, she’s already released music. She has two singles — “6 Cities” and “Beautiful Goodbye” — and a Christmas cover on streaming sites.

* She also released a music vidoe for “Beautiful Goodbye,” which you can check out below. “This song has gotten me through many goodbyes, & I hope that it will do the same for all of you,” she wrote on social media.

* Sadie has entered a number of singing competitions and won the Draper Idol title in her hometown in July 2024.

* She’s also honed her performance skills at CC Soundhouse in American Fork, Utah, a training program for young musicians.

* And pre-Voice, she’s already developed an impressive following on TikTok with more than 20,000 followers and more than 600,000 likes on her videos.

* Oh, and in November 2024, Sadie got to freestyle with Tori Kelly at a show, a moment she highlights on her social media. “This was a dream come true,” Sadie writes. “I literally sing because of Tori Kelly.”
