American Idol has introduced us to some outstanding talent over the course of 15 seasons.

And I’m not just talking about the winners of the show, like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.

Take Christian artist Mandisa as an example. She finished ninth in Season 5, but has forged a successful year that includes a 2014 Grammy for best contemporary Christian album (“Overcomer”).
