American Idol eliminated 10 very talented singers Monday night.
Some — Bryant Thomas, Chloe Lauren, Sheldon Riley and Michael Garner — disappeared after having at least part of their Top 30 peformance air.
Others — Tianna Roberts, Jacquie Lee, Bianna Yancey — pretty much disappeared from site.
Here’s what they had to say about their Idol ousters. Only Sheldon, who has a long list of reality TV show appearance in his background, hasn’t addressed the issue yet.
Following the link attached to the name will take you to the actual post on Instagram.
Bryant Thomas: “Hey yall – I know yesterday was devastating for so many . But we wanted you all to know our hearts are filled with nothing but gratitude for each and every person here in our comments section on all platforms. He’s okay ❤️ and every single person that continues to stream his original music is the stuff that makes musicians dreams come true . ITS ABOUT TO GET GOOD.”
Michael Garner: “This has been such an amazing experience and I’m so grateful for every single moment. Thank you all for your support and please stay tuned to see what is next up!”
Tianna Roberts: Today was difficult for me. I don’t understand why things happened the way they did at all, BUT I am grateful that I got to have a little fun and meet some awesome people! It’s not over, it’s just different🤷🏽♀️
Jacquie Lee: “At least my dress is pretty.”
Bella Emry: “I’ve been voted off the island y’all 😭 @americanidol has been unlike anything I have ever experienced in my life. I am honored to have been on the same stage as these extremely talented humans. I never thought I’d be here. This isn’t the end. I love you all and I am so incredibly blessed.” Note: Bella has posted a cover of her Top 30 song, “Celebrate Me Home” by Kenny Loggins.
Kiera Howell: “This has been an absolute dream come true!! ✨ I MADE IT TO TOP 30 on AMERICAN IDOL!! That in itself is the biggest blessing I could have ever imagined!! I may not have quite made Top 20 but I am beyond grateful for this unforgettable and amazing experience!!! What a blessing it has been to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity!!! I fulfilled a lifelong dream being on American Idol and BEING IN THE TOP 30!!!! Thank you Jesus for this blessing and a true dream come true!! 🩷🩷
“If you can’t tell by these pictures, my genuine excitement to be able to be a part of this show is an experience I’ll never forget. This is my element and I’m so thankful the world got to see that! On this side of the world I’ll still be the happiest person no matter the future!! 🤍 Thank you so much @americanidol for this opportunity!!!”
Brenna Brigman: “So beyond grateful for my experience with @americanidol and for the family I made along the way.”
Brianna Yancey: “I am so thankful for this opportunity and that God has allowed me to make it to the top 30 on American Idol! This is just the beginning… 👀! Thanks for all the love and support on my journey.”
Chloe Lauren: “Feeling grateful today. Grateful for the chance to stand on the Idol stage, grateful for what I learned, and grateful for every person who believed in me along the way. This experience pushed me in ways I didn’t expect — it showed me parts of myself I hadn’t seen before, and it reminded me how much I still get to grow.
“I’ve seen the things people say, and I just want to speak on it with love. I’m not “too emotional.” I’m not “not confident.” I’m a human being who walked into something completely new, with cameras, pressure, and millions of eyes on me for the first time. I showed up as myself, not a version of me I thought people wanted. That alone took courage.
“What I know for sure is that God has a plan for my life, and no TV moment — good or bad –— can stop what He’s already written. American Idol doesn’t define me or anyone else who steps on that stage. It’s a show. It’s entertainment. It’s not the full story of who we are as people or as artists.
“I also know that I put my heart out there for the world to see—and you can take it or leave it. Either way, it was real.
I’m walking away with gratitude, growth, and a fire in my heart to keep going. I can’t wait for what’s to come. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me, prayed for me, and seen my heart through it all. This is just the beginning for me.”
