Season 3, The Voice

The Voice and its superheroes, plus a lineup of mentors

0

Well, we have the lineup of mentors for Season 3 of The Voice.

Season 3, you ask? Didn’t Season 2 just end.

Well, sorta. But the good folks at NBC liked show’s rating so much that they decided to come back for Season 3 in September and go head-to-head with The X Factor just as they went head-to-head American Idol in the spring.

In fact, the Season 3 premiere — complete with those renowned blind auditions — is set for 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10.

Now, back to those mentors.

* Christina Augilera will be assisted by Green Day frontman Billie Jo Armstrong;

* Cee Lo Green will be assisted by Matchbox 20 singer Rob Thomas;

* Adam Levine will be assisted by Mary J. Blige;

* And Blake Shelton will be assisted by Michael Buble.

And I won’t be shocked if we see Miranda Lambert from time to time as well.

Oh, and I love that super heroes clip above that NBC is using to promote the show.

I just hope producers have made a few other tweaks as well because with the judges the show found and the talent they found in the first two seasons, this show should be fun from start to finish.

And that wasn’t the case in Season 2.
