Two TV appearances for Phillip Phillips as debut CD lands

American Idol Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips will make two TV appearances Monday to coincide with the digital release of his debut album.

Phillip will appear on the View at 11 a.m. EST on ABC.

And he will appear on Late Night with David Letterman at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.

“The World from the Side of the Moon” is being released in a standard and deluxe format.

The latter has three bonus tracks — “Hazel,” “Wicked Game” and a live version of “Home.”

Thanks to “Home,” Phillip’s album arrives at a time when he has all sorts of momentum.

The song broke David Cook’s record for most downloads the week after an Idol coronation song was released.

It has since gone double platinum, the first Idol coronation song to ever accomplish that feat.

Meanwhile, if you head to Phillip’s website, you’ll find all sorts of bundle offers on both versions of his new album, complete with t-shirts and postcards.
