For years I’ve suggested American Idol should give preferential treatment for former contestants when it comes to filling guest spots on its Thursday results show. In Season 12, it looks like that just might happen.
Tuesday night, we met five talented new artists on The Voice. Wednesday, they participated in a conference call with the media.
Adam Levine is on fire on The Voice. At this point, you have to wonder whether his team will run away from the competition. Or whether it’s already met its quota of front-runners.
Most of the singers who landed spots on The Voice Monday night participated in a conference call Tuesday afternoon. Many of them have already released music. If they haven’t, they’ve posted music to YouTube.
OK, here are two words I never figured to use together as an American Idol blogger: Crystal and Broadway. Yep, Crystal Bowersox, the singer-songwriter runner-up from Season 9 is Broadway bound.
