A duo — yep, a duo — turn three chairs on The Voice

0

It’s official: The Voice will have a duo as part of the Season 15 cast.

And that marks a first for the show since sisters Whitney and Shannon graced the show’s stage in Season 11.

The Voice has leaked video of a blind audition featuring the duo One Up; that audition is likely to air Monday night.

One Up features Jerome Bell and Adam Bastien, who also happen to be a couple.

They perform The Spinners’ “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love.”

And though it takes the coaches a while to figure out what’s happening on stage, once they do Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton turn nearly in unison.

What we don’t know from the video is whether Blake Shelton is successful in luring One Up to his team thanks to his past success with duos.

Back in Season 4, he coached The Swon Brothers, the only duo ever to make it to The Voice finals.

As for One Up, both singers are New York based. Adam has been singing and recording music with a vocal quartet called 7th Avenue. Jerome is a former American Idol contestant (Top 40 Season 10). For more on them, head here.

Here’s One Up’s blind audition.
