Want to hear the first post-Idol single from Danny Gokey?
Just head to his new Myspace site and you can listen to “It’s Only.”
And according to a tweet from Danny on Monday, the song will be available for download from dannygokey.com on Dec. 8 and from iTunes on Dec. 15.
Danny and his handlers have picked a ballad for his first country music release.
And chalk up “It’s Only” as another candidate for theme song of this year’s Idol Gives Back special. Sorry, Danny, I still prefer Carrie Underwood’s “Change.”
That said, country music sounds better coming from Danny than some of the themes he took on during season eight. Remember rock night? Yikes.
Danny debuted “It’s Only” Thursday at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, radio station FM106.1. The station’s Facebook page indicates the song was produced by Mark Bright and written by the members of Lady Antebellum.
Expect a first country album from Danny sometime in 2010.
