A look back at Barrett Baber’s performances on The Voice

Barrett Baber was the very last singer we met on The Voice’s Season 9 premiere.

The high school teacher from Fayetteville, Ark., turned all four coaches’ chairs with his performance of “Angel Eyes” by the Jeff Healey Band.

In what he calls a “no-brainer,” the country singer opted to join Team Blake. Now he’ll be representing Team Blake in the Season 9 finals.

Since that blind audition, covers by Barrett have cracked the Top 20 on iTunes four times and the Top 10 on two occasions. His cover of Conway Twitty’s “I’d Love to Lay You Down” also hit number one on the site’s country chart.

At 35, Barrett is the oldest of the Season 9 finalists. He’s also the only one to have already released music, with two albums, two singles and a 6-track EP released earlier this year already on iTunes.

Here’s a look back at Barrett’s performances on The Voice.
